App-Related Privacy Policy

This document describes how Five Mind Creations UG (haftungsbeschränkt), the developer and publisher of PowerBeatsVR, uses, shares, and protects information collected from players of PowerBeatsVR.

Collected Information

PowerBeatsVR collects and processes information received from your platform provider (Meta/Quest, Valve/Steam, Sony/PlayStation) and generated during gameplay to provide the features described below. The information available to the app and the supported platform services depend on the platform and version of PowerBeatsVR you use.

The app processes this information on your device and exchanges information with the relevant platform provider as required for features such as achievements, leaderboards and access to purchased content.

We do not store your platform user ID, profile information, age-group information, or purchase and entitlement information on our own servers. However, the app accesses and uses this information as described in this policy. Information associated with platform-hosted services is stored and managed by the relevant platform provider.

Use of Information

We use the platform-provided information as follows:

Platform user ID — USER_ID

PowerBeatsVR accesses your platform-assigned user ID to associate platform features, including leaderboard entries and achievements, with your player account.

Platform user profile — USER_PROFILE
PowerBeatsVR accesses your platform username or display name to identify players within the app and display names alongside leaderboard results. Player names and scores may be visible to other users through the relevant leaderboard features.

User age group — USER_AGE (Meta platforms)
PowerBeatsVR requests and receives the age category associated with your Meta account through Meta’s Get Age Category API. We make this request to fulfil Meta’s requirement to integrate this API for apps available to mixed-age audiences. The API provides an age category, not your exact age or date of birth. PowerBeatsVR does not otherwise use the returned age category, and we do not store this information on our own servers.

In-app purchases and downloadable content — IAP
PowerBeatsVR accesses purchase and entitlement information provided by your platform, including product identifiers and ownership status. The app uses this information to determine which additional content your account owns and to make that content available to you.

Gameplay results and progress
PowerBeatsVR processes scores, experience and achievement progress to provide gameplay progression, unlock in-game equipment and support achievements and leaderboards. Information needed for platform-hosted achievements and leaderboards is submitted to the relevant platform provider and associated with your platform account.

Data Deletion

We do not store the platform user data described above on our own servers. There are therefore no copies of that data on our servers for us to delete. We also cannot remotely access or erase data stored on your device.

On Meta Quest, you can remove locally stored PowerBeatsVR app data through your headset’s application-storage controls or by uninstalling PowerBeatsVR. This does not delete information held by Meta, such as platform-hosted leaderboard entries, achievements, purchase records or cloud backups. Where cloud backups exist, you can delete them separately through Meta’s Cloud Backups controls.

All users, regardless of their country of residence, may contact support@fivemindcreations.com free of charge to request deletion of app-related personal data or assistance with deletion. Please identify PowerBeatsVR and the platform on which you play.

We will review your request and carry out any deletion actions available to us for app-specific personal data. Where deletion requires an action by you or the relevant platform provider, we will explain this and direct you to the applicable device controls, account controls or support service.

3rd Party Integrations

YUR:
YUR is a third-party tracking app that gathers activity and movement data. Activating YUR in PowerBeatsVR and pairing it with a YUR account, enables YUR to collect data. This includes but is not limited to: VR tracking data, distances traveled, estimated heart rate, and fitness performance history. This information is processed through the YUR integration and transmitted to YUR. We do not store this information on our own servers. It is exclusively attached to your YUR account. For more information, please see the YUR privacy policy. To request that information be deleted, please contact YUR directly.

Changes to the App-Related Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example, to reflect changes in law, our practices, or features of PowerBeatsVR. Such changes will be effective immediately upon publishing. By playing PowerBeatsVR, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
