Hey everyone! Your next VR workout should fit what you enjoy, whether that’s your own music, guided classes or a coached combat session. We make PowerBeatsVR for people who want control over their soundtrack and workout settings. Here’s how that approach compares with FitXR, Supernatural and LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT.
We’re speaking as the PowerBeatsVR developers, not an independent review site. Our aim is to help you understand the formats and choose something you’ll want to use.
Four approaches to a VR workout
| App | The workout format | Purchase details to check |
|---|---|---|
| PowerBeatsVR | Official workouts and generated sessions for your local music | Paid base game, no required subscription, optional add-ons |
| FitXR | Guided workouts in a class-library format | Membership plan, region and renewal terms |
| Supernatural | Guided, music-led workouts | Current availability, supported regions and service terms |
| LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT | Coached martial-arts-inspired sessions | Paid base app, no required subscription, optional DLC |
Choose PowerBeatsVR for your soundtrack and settings
We give you two easy starting points: pick an official workout, or use a supported local song to generate one. Then choose the difficulty and movement mix for your session. Punches, dodges and squats bring the music into the movement; the editor is there when you’d like to refine a layout further.

That freedom is the reason to consider our app. It suits you if choosing a playlist and shaping the workout sounds enjoyable. It doesn’t provide live coaching or automatically assess your fitness.
PowerBeatsVR is available on Meta Quest, PCVR and PSVR2. Check our platform-specific FAQ for music formats and features. Quest passthrough and PC mixed-reality recording are separate capabilities.
Choose guided content if you want the session planned
FitXR is worth comparing if a library of classes and different studio styles is your priority. Its membership information covers monthly and annual options. Compare the plan you’d actually buy, including what happens after a trial.
Supernatural also emphasizes guided workouts and coaches. The service is entering a new chapter, so use its official site for current availability, regions and sign-up terms rather than relying on an old price or transition announcement.
For coaching without a required membership, look at LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT. Its paid base app uses a martial-arts-inspired format, with optional DLC. Odders lists Quest, Steam, PICO and PSVR2 versions; features vary, including mixed reality on compatible Quest hardware.
Let the movement help you decide
Would you rather build a session around a song you love, or follow a coach through a prepared workout? That question gets you closer to a useful choice than a claimed calorie leaderboard. Your settings, active time and effort all affect a session; an old laboratory rating isn’t a head-to-head test of these current apps.
If your playlist is the draw, explore PowerBeatsVR on Quest or Steam. If you’d like to ask our community about the experience, you’re welcome on Discord.
Happy moving,
Team PowerBeatsVR
